Historic race mechanic

We are actively seeking a race mechanic with experience in historic racing and preferably Minis. The chosen candidate will be required to work in a workshop environment on a full time basis and also at race meetings where necessary. You should have a good understanding of general Mini mechanical procedures and have the ability to diagnose and solve mechanical problems. The role will include all aspects of car preparation, car rebuilds/new builds, set up work and race preparation & running. 

 You must be self-motivated, able to work towards deadlines and under pressure. Experience in the historic motorsport environment is essential and a passion/interest in Minis is important.

  • Previous race mechanic experience preferably with historic Mini’s
  • Clean drivers licence
  • A trailer licence would be beneficial however the opportunity to take the trailer test will be available for the right candidate
  • Own tools essential
  • Full time position (Monday-Friday) but will also include weekends during the racing season
  • Competitive rates of pay
